To become a licensed SIA Train the Trainer, candidates are required to complete the Level 3 Award in Education & Training, the Level 3 Award for Deliverers of Conflict Management Training, and the Level 3 Award for Deliverers of Physical Intervention. WHAT DOES A TYPICAL COURSE LOOK LIKE? Level 3 Award in Education & Training Course Day One – Roles, Responsibilities & Relationships in Education (0900 – 1700) Course Day Two – Facilitating Learning & Development in Groups (0900 – 1700) Course Day Three – Understanding Assessment in Education & Training (0900 – 1700) Course Day Four – Lesson Planning & Programme Design (0900 – 1700) Course Day Five – Teaching Sessions – Professional Practice (0900 – 1700) Level 3 Award for Deliverers of Conflict Management Training Course Day One – Managing Conflict Situations (0900 – 1700) Course Day Two – Delivering Conflict Management Training Theory (0900 – 1700) Course Day Three – Planning & Designing Conflict Management Training (0900 – 1700) Course Day Four – Teaching Sessions – Professional Practice (0900 – 1700) Level 3 Award for Deliverers of Physical Intervention Training Course Day One – Application of Physical Intervention Skills (0900 – 1700) Course Day Two – Delivering Physical Intervention Training Theory (0900 – 1700) Course Day Three – Planning & Designing Physical Intervention Training (0900 – 1700) Course Day Four – Teaching Sessions – Professional Practice (0900 – 1700) Delivery Model We offer flexible learning models utilising a mixture of online learning and face to face delivery. Our course tutor will work with you to develop an individual delivery model and for the majority of the qualifications, you can attend via webinar and distance learning methods. For Physical Intervention training however, you will be required to attend one of our centres for a set period of time, agreed with your course tutor. This course bundle is built to support candidates who may be working as tutors/trainers/assessors in various settings including private training, further education, higher education or schools.
